At Colliers, our marketing team uses typography, layout, and color to make materials that connect with our clients. As the Graphic Designer based in our  Toronto West office, you will create great looking materials that inspire and push the limits of what people expect in commercial real estate.

Since this is a fast paced, high volume role within a PC environment, you are an effective communicator with a strong sense of urgency. You take initiative, can multi-task, prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team.

Are you able to?

  • Design and produce marketing materials that distinguish Colliers from the competition.
  • Create graphic intensive materials to be printed, or emailed, in or out of house for brochures, digital assets (HTML + Java Script + CSS a plus), E-blasts, event collateral, logo studies, Microsoft Office, presentations, pitches and proposals, reports and signage.
  • Develop print ad layouts to be placed in various local and regional market reports, magazines and newspapers.
  • Scan, draw, redraw and label maps, site plans, floor plans, maps, stacking plans, aerials, etc. for Brochures, Investment and Leasing Proposals, PowerPoint Presentations, or other needs specified.
  • Supports branding guidelines and the further development of external communications to enhance brand presence
  • Ensure Colliers’ visual guidelines and standards are adhered to.
  • Maintain graphics directory to control server space.
  • Other duties as required.

If so, we want:

  • Requires 3-5 years of experience within a similar corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and HTML.
  • Video Editing, Macromedia Flash, website and print design experience are all considered assets.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Proven ability to quickly understand a brief and come up with concepts for refinement.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to communicate and manage print jobs with vendors.
