Distribution Channel Account Manager

The Distributor sales manager has direct responsibility for Distribution business KPI, understanding the U.S smartphone / tablet / wearable distribution net/Map, helping Huawei to explore distributors, managing customer orders, inventory, building and maintaining a positive client relationship. 

The Distribution Channel Account Manager is also responsible for monitoring the charges related to Purchase orders and deliveries, working with cross-functional teams to identify and investigate errors and to determine root causes and resolution, using sales forecasting data to develop a delivery plan that maintains appropriate inventory levels.


  • Submit PO’s for review and approval
  • Work with internal and external customers on launch timing and volumes for new products
  • Work with account manager to identify and account for factors that impact product supply and demand (i.e., competition, promotion, pricing)
  • Maintain metrics to ensure customer needs are being met
  • Submit device demand plans to Demand Planning Manager to ensure product is built in a timely manner to meet customer delivery and satisfaction requirements
  • Serve as point of contact for supply, delivery and logistics issues, and take action to resolve issues as quickly as possible and to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Monitor sales forecast and inventory data, and work with account team to ensure customer order requirements are met
  • Monitor charges related to Purchase orders and deliveries and work with cross-functional teams to identify and investigate errors and to determine root causes and resolution.

Relevant Work Experience

Minimum:  Two (2) years experience in Handset / PC /Tablet Distribution/sales business

Preferred:  Five (5) years experience in Handset / PC /Tablet Distribution/sales business


Skills & Abilities: (Technical or General) 

  • Minimum Requirements: 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
  • Experience working with supply, delivery and logistics data  and analysis
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to multi-task while responding to changing  requirements
  • Detail Orientation and strong organizational skills
  • Clear understanding of the dynamics of ecommerce or the consumer electronics industry


In addition to the above qualifications, the candidate should possess strong analytical skills and ability to analyze trends in ecommerce, consumer electronics, or supply chain management.

Mandarin speaking, reading, or writing is a plus
