Most DESC housing residents live with challenges that would seem overwhelming or insurmountable to the average person: mental illness, drug and alcohol addictions, HIV, physical or developmental disabilities, and extreme poverty. In most cases, they are not affected by just one of these conditions, but are multiply disabled and have long histories of homelessness or frequent failures in other low-income housing settings. To increase their opportunity for success, residents in each of our housing programs work with case management staff on a wide array of functions, including goal planning, care consultation, assistance with basic ADL's, individual counseling, and group facilitation.
DESC invites you to apply today for a chance to attend our hiring fair! Qualified applicants who are invited to the hiring fair have the opportunity to take a tour of a DESC Project, Learn about what makes DESC unique, and Participate in a Q&A with staff members. All attendees have the option of joining a group interview as well!
