DESC Mobile Crisis Team Hiring Fair

Date: Monday, September 18, 2017

Location/Time: Crisis Solution Center/ Two time slots: Morning and Afternoon (please indicate which time slot you prefer)

Are you passionate about serving those who are most in need? Are you committed to working for your fellow citizens? Are you a believer in working towards creative and innovation solutions for clients with vexing problems? If so, please apply to attend our Mobile Crisis Team Hiring Fair.

The Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) offers a fast-paced work environment and no assigned case load. As a member of the MCT you will work alongside emergency first responders like police and firefighters to help in crisis situations. You may report to your work location each day but you will never have the same day as the one before. As current team members say, “We don’t know until we go.” The MCT works with all types of populations and is not limited to the homeless, which allows for a dynamic use of skills.

Qualified applicants who are invited to the hiring fair have the opportunity to take a tour of a DESC Project, Learn about what makes DESC unique, and Participate in a Q&A with staff members. All attendees have the option of joining a group interview as well!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

Current Washington Department of Health minimum credential as an Agency Affiliated Counselor in good standing.

Master's degree in a social work, psychology or other relevant behavioral science.

Valid Washington state driver’s license and insurable driving record.
