Our Pittsburgh, PA office is looking for a Digital Ad Operations Specialist. This role is responsible for execution and implementation of complex digital advertising campaigns.  You will have active participation in media planning discussions regarding trafficking strategies and be the go-to in-house resource for DoubleClick and ad operations.  This will require daily interaction with our internal teams such as Media Planning and Analytics, and our external partners to ensure consistent and accurate delivery of all advertising campaigns.

The Digital Operations Specialist’s responsibilities include:

  • Generating and trafficking campaigns in DoubleClick and other relevant platforms
  • Trafficking ads per creative rotation, targeting parameters, etc., testing them and instructing partners on implementation of tags/pixels
  • Working with brand safety partners to incorporate tags effectively
  • Ensuring the accuracy of campaign tracking by generating quality assurance reports as campaigns go live; maintaining weekly QA and documentation (creative units, placements, click-through URLs, back-end tags/pixels)
  • Troubleshooting ad, tag, tracking and reporting discrepancies with Analytics and/or partners
  • Creating and QA of all DCM floodlight tags; implementing partner pixels in ad server
  • Review new media plans/updates with Media team before trafficking; work with Analytics team to ensure plans will allow them to collect data accurately, efficiently, and effectively
  • Helping to improve trafficking timelines, processes, and documentation to increase data quality

To excel in this position, applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree and the following:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Digital Media Operations, Digital Ad Ops, Digital trafficking
  • Effective time-management, impeccable attention to detail and a compulsive ability to stay organized
  • Proficiency in DoubleClick and Excel
  • Knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, Google Analytics, Adwords and Photoshop beneficial
  • Strong verbal/written communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude and dedication to thrive in a dynamic and deadline oriented environment
  • Passion for all things media and a drive to innovate and improve everything you do
