Digital Media Project Manager

Location: Pittsburgh, PA


The Pittsburgh office of MARC USA is hiring a Digital Media Project Manager to play a key role on a major healthcare client.   

The Digital Media Project Manager is a key member of the overall account team.  They are the delivery linchpin between the client, the account team, and the various interactive media disciplines.  In their job, they maintain the holistic view of all the moving parts required to ensure we provide our work products and deliverables on time.  Using traditional project management tools like timelines, Trello boards, checklists, etc. they maintain positive control over each aspect of various projects, ensuring clients and account teams are never surprised and always aware in advance of impending issues or challenges.  The ideal candidate is well versed in the approach, steps, and technology involved in developing, launching and measuring paid digital media (specifically display and search) campaigns and is ready to hit the ground running.  This person MUST be very detail oriented and enjoy the basic project manager credo of bringing order to chaos.  In their job, they will help manage the day to day for one account with about 10 concurrent projects.  This person will have a say in suggesting alternative tools or processes for how to manage the current account and will be considered a key member of the account team.


Your role:

  • Assists the account and discipline teams in the planning and execution of digital media campaigns
  • Builds and maintains ongoing timelines for key campaigns and projects
  • Tracks weekly baseline documents and maintains one shared agency/client view of upcoming or due tasks or milestones (currently in Trello)
  • Coordinates closely between discipline and account teams to ensure there is a common understanding of timelines, deliverables and expectations
  • Develops estimates and assists with budgets and statements of work (SOWs)Works closely with the senior account team set client expectations, predict issues or challenges, and prevent surprises for the client
  • Collaborates and coordinates with project managers and delivery managers from client and partner agency teams to ensure on-time delivery of assets needed for launching digital media campaigns
  • Attends and actively participates in all status meetings, client meetings and reporting calls
  • Maintains an understanding of campaign strategies and account initiatives in order to contextualize priorities, understand project risks, and understand the relationships between projects and deliverables
  • Understands discipline processes and methodologies and where needed helps revise to match project expectations and realities
  • Works with discipline teams to help them understand build, and follow timelines that track with client expectations


Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum four (5) years’ experience in a Project Management role with a proven history of increasing responsibility and scope
  • Experience managing multiple media projects simultaneously
  • Digital media experience is a must. Our PM must be ready to hit the ground running
  • Talent to motivate and influence stakeholders and team members to drive the project forward
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks & projects in a fast–paced environment
  • Proven ability to work on tight deadlines and deliver quality results
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Visio, Power Point, Excel and Word project tracking tools
  • Experience with Trello or other collaborative project management platforms for detailed work tracking
  • Excellent customer service skills
