The team in London is seeking a motivated and driven new business person with an excellent track record in developing new business opportunities throughout Europe. In this role the candidate will be part of the marketing/new business team working alongside the Business Development Director to create new business opportunities in the UK and Europe. The focus of the role is the generation of appropriate new business opportunities through desk research, inbound marketing, email and phone. The candidate will also be responsible for creating, managing and assisting in the conversion of new business opportunities and relationships. The ideal candidate will be proactive and able to self-manage with a real passion for branding.


  • Increase number of quality leads, prospects and opportunities for UK office
  • Focus on outbound new business campaigns as detailed in the New Business plan
  • Develop key client/prospect relationships and generate new appropriate business opportunities at events, via targeted marketing campaigns, over the phone and face-to-face

As part of New Business Plan:

  • Run brand and category audits for prospect identification, specific projects or pitch presentations
  • Researching prospects and developing target campaigns
  • Help in identifying new business targets who meet our criteria on ad hoc basis and as part of New Business plan
  • Creation of Top 20 target lists for marketing and new business initiatives in chosen European markets and sectors in particular – as detailed in NB plan
  • Generate new business meetings and support the management of opportunities through to pitch phase
  • Write proposals, manage pitch processes and attend relevant meetings
  • Record and report on all activity
  • Day-to-day administration, incl. letter writing, credentials/new business preparation and database updating


  • Passionate business development manager with approx. 2 -4 yrs experience and strong track record in prospecting and winning new clients
  • Strong and proven sales and business development skills
  • Focus on strategic marketing – experience in branding/design sector
  • Be confident, and able to speak to prospective clients on the phone with ease
  • Be a passionate self-starter
  • Have very strong relationship management skills
  • Have excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Skilled in MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint as well as SalesForce
  • Fluency in another European language would be of advantage
