Coordinator, Donor Marketing (Diabetes Canada)

To stem the tide of this epidemic, Diabetes Canada is raising its sights to deliver impact at a population level by advocating for  healthy public policy, driving exceptional diabetes care, promoting research towards a cure, and enhancing our digital delivery consistent with the needs of those we serve today and the desires of our donors. 

 

About the Coordinator, Donor Marketing Role

This role works closely with the Senior Manager, Donor Marketing to deliver multi-channel Annual Giving and Mid-Level fundraising campaigns with a $5 million yearly revenue target. This role is a key element to delivering these campaigns on time, on brand and on strategy. The ideal candidate is highly organized and will have experience managing multiple projects and deliverables with internal stakeholders and vendors.

 

Highlights of the role include:

  • Manages the campaign delivery through all channels (Direct Mail, Digital, Telemarketing)
  • Ensures key campaign requirements are meeting project timelines 
  • Works with internal teams, agency partners and outside suppliers, overseeing quality control as needed
  • Facilitates status calls with agency partners and coordinates follow up
  • Ensures campaign materials align with strategy from campaign plan
  • Actively contributes to overall success of direct marketing campaigns
  • Actively manages projects to achieve objectives
  • Schedules, prepares for and attends planning sessions, agency calls, concept presentations and campaign kick-off briefings
  • Completes billing and administrative duties related to campaigns and projects
  • Support other Marketing special projects and initiatives as needed

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: 

  • 3 -5 years Marketing experience within a non-profit/charity organization 
  • Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent in a related field
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy 
  • Superior ability to manage multiple projects at once with a proven ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines 
  • Raiser’s Edge (or similar) CRM experience a plus
  • Able to deal with ambiguity, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in changing circumstances 
  • Embrace continuous improvement by proposing new and/or better ways of doing things, ability to think proactively and independently
  • Possess in-depth computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
