Planning and Environment – Associate – Sydney
Mills Oakley is a leading independent Australian law firm. With 100 partners and over 600 staff nationally, we are a Top 10 Australian firm by size. Our clients include ASX200 listed companies, mid-sized corporates, the public sector and not-for-profit organisations. We have been recognised by respected industry bodies and commentators, including ALPMA and Australasian Lawyer, as one of the nation’s most innovative law firms, leading ground-breaking projects such as Australia’s first legal services Accelerator. Our energetic vision is complemented by our investment in quality people and a proven commitment to forging strong, durable client relationships.
Due to an increase in workflow from our clients we have a need for a bright Associate to join our Planning and Environment team in Sydney. The team represents more development proponents in Land and Environment Court merit appeals than any other law firm.
You will work closely with a leading Partner on a wide range of planning and environment law matters, including merit appeals and potential class 4 proceedings. You will have an opportunity to thrive in this very busy team. You will principally be working for development proponents. The role involves a healthy mix of advice and litigation work.
