Basic Function:

The Marketing Communications Manager directs the creative workflow of marketing, advertising, public relations, and campaigns.  Their expertise allows them to maximize collaboration, efficiency and creativity while building and maintaining consistent branding across marketing and public relations channels.

To be a Marketing Communications Manager at Crane Pumps & Systems, you must have a marketing or advertising background and five years of experience.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or other related field  
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, product branding or other related areas, including data research and analysis
  • Project coordination, process development, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Microsoft, Adobe Suite, Articulate experience and the ability to navigate new software applications
  • Experience in tradeshow management

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Direct MARCOM team functions
  • Lead to continuously improve and update website content
  • Create analytical reports to help market managers quantitatively make strategic decisions.
  • Gather competitive intelligence through social media and online and print advertising to support CP&S value propositions.
  • Creation of press releases to necessary media outlets
  • Assist in Customer VOC and results of online surveys
  • Coordinate and manage agency partners
  • Creation and development of campaigns to increase market share
  • Print and online advertising
  • Social media and email marketing
  • Bylined articles & white papers
  • Corporate video creation
  • eLearning module creating and distribution through LMS (Learning Management System)
  • RFP review and development
  • Marketing budget development and cost tracking
