We are seeking experienced Assistant Lead Operators for First Quality Baby Products. This position will be located in Lewistown, PA.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
  • ​​​ Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.
  • Performs SAP transactions which include Raw Material ordering and returns, Work Order processing and Bill of Materials verifications.
  • Troubleshoots and analyzes operational issues on production line equipment and takes corrective action to resolve these issues.
  • Performs changeovers on production line equipment.
  • Performs inspections of assigned equipment and reports findings promptly.
  • Maintains quality standards for the product.
  • Ensures the proper raw materials are in place and covered at the machine.
  • Keeps the machine and the surrounding area clean.
  • Performs the duties of a Line Leader when necessary.
  • Inputs Quality and Process data from testing and auditing into statistical software as required.
  • Assists maintenance personnel as required.
  • Follow instructions of the Line Leader.
  • Assists with the training of other employees.
  • Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion all required training and assessments.
  • Standard mechanical knowledge of all machinery, equipment and components.
  • Standard knowledge of product specifications, quality specifications, goals, efficiency, scrap and production.\
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to run the equipment, hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate orally and written.
  • Ability to work in a team orientated environment.
