POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Associate Director of Human Resources will provide a broad range of Human Resource expertise to support achievement of strategic business objectives. This position will work closely with the Chief Human Resource Officer to create and execute strategic and tactical HR initiatives in the areas of organizational design, learning and development, performance management, employee relations, succession planning, and total rewards. This position will report directly to the Chief Human Resource Officer.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Works closely with managers and employees across the globe, providing a high level of HR generalist support in many areas including headcount management, employee relations, talent management, organizational design, performance management, and training
  • Meets regularly with leaders and managers to discuss and assess business and operational needs, and develops HR strategy to drive organizational success
  • Works with CHRO to develop, communicate and implement robust performance management system which ensures pay-for-performance methodology
  • Leads the creation, communication and compliance of all companywide HR policies and procedures. Recommends changes to existing policies, with a focus on company culture and compliance
  • Participates in talent assessment and succession planning efforts
  • With hiring managers and HR team, collaborates on recruitment and talent acquisition strategies including job description development, candidate assessment, competitive offer development, etc.
  • Assists CHRO in the creation and implementation of compensation strategy for the company
  • Interviews all managerial candidates, ensuring that leadership competencies are a focus of our talent acquisition process  
  • Partners with the CHRO in the creation of a robust company culture, ensuring that people are our most valuable strategic asset
  • Coordinates management training in the areas of leadership, interviewing, performance management, and others as needed
  • Analyzes exit interview data, and makes recommendations to improve retention
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to junior members of HR Team
  • May be involved in, or responsible for, other HR projects or deliverables as business needs evolve

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA plus 8+ years’ experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner with solid work experience and knowledge across multiple HR functions
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of above
  • Team player who is positive, energetic, flexible, and highly collaborative
  • Demonstrated track record in providing valued counseling to senior business leaders
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with focus on execution
  • Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with all levels of leaders and employees - strong listening, relationship building, problem solving, influencing and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to draw insight from data and create action plans accordingly
