As a Software Engineer- Reporting, you will be working in an agile, self-driven, accountable and responsive team to implement reporting designed to meet our client’s needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop internal websites and back-office applications that enable us to deliver high-quality services to customers.
  • Work on projects with client facing partners, database developers, release engineering, technical project managers and product managers to solve problems, and improve existing solutions or develop new ones.
  • Provide release testing support for software applications and assist in verifying and resolving bugs.
  • Collaborate with external consultants and technology partners to perform design and development activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 4 years of application analysis, design & modification
  • Proven experience with process improvement design, development and delivery
  • Experience working in an Agile Development environment
  • Experience building .Net web-based enterprise applications with ASP.NET and with C#.NET
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably MS SQL
  • Experience with reporting technologies, preferably SQL technologies (SSRS, SSIS).
  • Experience with benefits, transaction processing, or financial services industry background is preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONS

Occasional and infrequent travel is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS & DEMANDS

Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & DEMANDS

Work requires normal range of hearing and eyesight. Incumbent must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment and operate a keyboard and other office equipment. The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with frequent interruptions is required. At times, incumbents are subject to sitting for prolonged periods. Infrequently, incumbent must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. Incumbent may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
