1Prospect Technologies, LLC is seeking a qualified Database Administrator who will ensure that proper database performance is achieved; that there are no security concerns; and database physical needs are met. The Database Administrator will provide technical support to the IT staff while maintaining current system applications and developing and testing new ones; and providing support for the technical infrastructure.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Act as the liaison to the end user communities and other technical staff
Develop Technical documentation for operational sustainment
Manage workloads, workflows, demand, and capacity management
Produce monthly status report and conduct senior level meeting/briefings
Assist with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) server migration and support
Develop and deliver database and other data-driven solutions to support business needs and drive self-service analytics
Build the infrastructure and maintain scalable architectures from complex data sets across multiple platforms to enable business agility
Assist with system Migrations
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity after migration
Transfer and update Microsoft Integration Services Packages (SSIS) to support new SSAS environment
Oversee data governance, data integrity, data security for compliance
Create and maintain documentation of database processes and business rules
B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent work experience in IT related field
Three (3) or more years of experience as a DBA and/or Developer
Two (2) years support of the Federal Government contract
Proficient in Visual studios, C#, C+, MySQL
Experience with database environments; including Oracle Databases preferred
Must be able to obtain required certifications per DoD 8570.1M for privileged level access
Experience working in Construction environment preferred
Be a U.S. Citizen.
Be fluent in the English Language as exemplified in their written and verbal skills.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of ITIL Incident Management
Knowledge of DoD audit readiness requirements and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Knowledge in implementing computer systems in a phased approach of requirements analysis and conceptual design, site survey, system design review, critical design review, installation, integration, and testing.
Knowledge of software lifecycle support, including maintenance, administration and management.
Capable of performing configuration management, integrating software, interpreting software test results, and recommending solutions for unsatisfactory results.
Ability to conduct system architecture reviews and analysis, operating system maintenance, and performing database administration.
Ability to multitask
Awareness of Governance methodologies commonly governing DoD organizations
Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Position may require moderate travel
