Location: Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH), Fort Belvoir, Virginia
This is a temporary position working 6 - 8 months.
1Prospect is seeking a qualified Telecommunications Manager to manage and provide telecommunications services in support of Medical Communication Infrastructure Technical Support Services to Fort Belvoir Community Hospital and its ancillary clinics within the National Capital Region Medical Directorate to include Dumfries Health Center, Dumfries, VA, Fairfax Health Center, Fairfax, VA and DiLorenzo Tricare Health Clinic, Arlington, VA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as the liaison between the end user and Information Management Information Technology (IMIT) for all service delivery issues
Must be proficient in ITIL Incident Management
Thorough knowledge with DoD audit readiness requirements and RMF
Must be able to manage a Cisco Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Analog environment
Must be able to manage mobile telecommunications such as iPhones, iPads, (Mobile cellular wireless device(s), Mobile Wi-Fi, and hands-free communication devices such as Vocera
Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS and DHCP
Must be able to develop Telecommunication documentation for operational sustainment
Manage telecommunication projects for new telecommunication technology
Manage objects, workloads, workflows, demand, and capacity management for all employees
Required Experience/Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in Information Systems, business, Communications or related field is preferred or two (2) years of equivalent experience
Experience in assembling technical documents and providing detailed analysis of various business system functions
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel, Access, Project Management, Power Point and Visio.
Must possess required certifications per DoD 8570.1M for privileged level access
Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology/Information Systems, or Communications and five (5) to (7) years expertise in Telecommunication Management
Experience working in Healthcare environment
Awareness of Governance methodologies commonly governing DoD organizations
