Position:   Business Development Analyst

Location:   Williamsburg, VA

Reports to: Sr. VP Business Development

Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Manage company pipeline database (SalesForce) consisting new business opportunities with a focus on data integrity

·        Research new opportunities, customers, and competitors utilizing various open source tools such as FedBizOpps, GovWin IQ, and others

·        Research specific contract and customer data utilizing federal databases such as FPDS, DSBS, GSA Advantage, USA Spending.gov, and others

·        Assist with external marketing efforts to include research and scheduling of trade shows, industry days, and conferences

·        Assist with the facilitation and development of the Business Development Process to include ensuring timelines and milestones are met as required

·        Attend trade shows, conferences, industry days, and business development meetings locally and throughout the United States as needed

·        Assist with proposal development to include technical writing, editing, reviews, and scheduling

·        Assist with marketing material development to include technical writing, editing, and reviews

·        Act as SalesForce administrator for troubleshooting issues and assisting users

·        Other duties as assigned by the Sr. VP BD


Experience and Basic Qualifications:       

·        Minimum 2 Years of Business experience, Sales & Marketing preferred

·        Microsoft Office necessary

·        Knowledge of CRMs, SalesForce preferred

·        Strong attention to detail

·        Ability to work and motivate independently and as a team

·        Critical thinking a must

·        Effective time management, planning, and organization

·        Excellent written and oral communication skills


·        Must be able to physically lift over 25 pounds

·        Must have a valid drivers license and ability to travel locally outside of the office independently

·        Ability to travel 10%
