Construction Project Manager Job Responsibilities:
Accomplishes companywide construction project management objectives by planning, evaluating, and executing project activities. Construction projects consist of Design Build, new construction, renovation, horizontal and vertical, including appropriate trades.
Leads, Manages, and Supervises multiple Construction Projects
Construction Project Manager Job Duties:
Accomplishes construction project human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Achieves construction project operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; developing and managing schedules, resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change; supporting business development with proposal, estimating, and capture assistance.
Meets construction project financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Construction Project Manager Skills and Qualifications:
Developing Budgets, schedules, Cost Estimates, Coaching, Supervision, Staffing, Project Management, Management Proficiency, Process Improvement, Tracking Budget Expenses, Self-Development, Planning, Performance Management, Inventor y Control, Verbal Communication
Construction Project Manager Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree with 7 Years relevant Experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years relevant experience Or 20 Years total Relevant Experience
Specialized Certifications or Licenses such as PE, RCDD LEED, or PMP, or other Professional Licenses may suffice for experience
USACE QC course, OSHA 30, CPR, First Aid.
