Position:  13 Series Advanced Individual Training (AIT) Instructor Services

13B10 Cannon Crewmember

 

Location:  Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE), 428TH  FA BDE

Fort Sill, OK

 

Summary: 1Prospect Technologies is seeking AIT Instructors to support 13B AIT Instruction within the Field Artillery Campus.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Instruct and evaluate student’s tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) under field, simulated, and classroom conditions
  • Follow the approved Programs of Instruction (POI) for Tactical Communications and teach to standard the contents of each lesson plan subject, to include:
    • Carrier Ammunition
    • Navigation Set: AN/PSN-13
    • Radio Sets: VRC-89, VRC90F, VRC-91F
    • Gun Laying and Positioning System
    • FA Howitzer system equipment to include the FA Howitzers (M109A6, M777A2 and M119A3), LMTV (M1083 Series and M1084 Series), Utility Truck (M1097 Series).
    • Computer System: AN/GYK-63
  • Update the Program of Instruction (POI) and lesson plans as required by the 13B Supervisory Training Specialist
  • Maintain proficiency in Tactical and Operational procedures on all FA Howitzer (M109A6, M777A2 and M119A3) systems
  • Understand and apply the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP)
  • Maintain instructor certification standards to include being formally evaluated quarterly
  • Drive Government vans, stake bed trucks, M109A6s, M992A2, HMMWVs and FMTVs, as required

 

Experience and Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of (5) years of experience in the 13B MOS
  • Possess the skills and knowledge to instruct soldiers on the M109A6 Paladin, M777A2 Howitzer, M119A3 Howitzer, LMTV (M1083 Series and M1084 Series), Utility Truck (M1097 Series)
  • (1) year of exp with the Army equipment within the 13B MOS to perform MOS related tasks.
  • Graduate of the 13B Cannon Crewmember Course
  • Graduate of the 13B Advanced Leaders Course or equivalent NCOES
  • Demonstrate the skills and ability to perform complex professional defense research
  • Analyze tasks and develop innovative approaches and solutions, perform Safety duties and operations, and administration and record-keeping operations

 

Other:

 

  • Must be able to physically lift over 100 pounds and stand while instructing for long periods of time
  • Licensed to operate the military vehicles corresponding to associated MOS within 90 days of hire (Government vans, stake bed trucks, M109A6s, M992A2, HMMWVs and FMTVs)

·              Able to obtain a passport and able to travel
