Corporate Finance Analyst
Undergoing a period of significant change, the BGC group of companies is currently positioning itself to manage and coordinate a significant undertaking to divest its existing entities. Employed by BGC Contracting and reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, this unique opportunity will see you partner with the business and key external advisors to best position the business for future transactions.
Offered as an initial 6 month fixed term role, you will be responsible for:
Developing and maintaining financial models
Conducting risk assessments, analysis and mitigation strategies
Management of data room and flow of information
Assessing investment cases and business case preparation
Reporting and analysis of operational performance
Coordinating and interacting with both key internal stakeholders and external advisors
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience building and maintaining financial models (advanced excel skills)
Previous merger and acquisition experience including managing data rooms and the flow of information
Previous experience in mining and construction contracting businesses (preferable)
Strong project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work across multiple areas and manage diverse workloads
