The Electronics Group of Crane Aerospace & Electronics designs and manufactures high-density, high-reliability electronics for our aerospace, space, military, medical, industrial, and commercial customers. Our product line includes custom, semi-custom and off-the-shelf power converters and custom miniature (hybrid) electronics circuits for applications across various markets including commercial, space and military aerospace and fiber optics. We have been designing and building DC/DC converters, EMI filters, and special products since 1969.

We have a unique and exciting career opportunity for Controller at our Fort Walton Beach, FL campus. Reporting to the Group Controller, you will be responsible for directing the accounting functions of the plant. These functions include establishing and maintaining the plant's accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives. Prepares financial reports and presents findings and recommendations to top management. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for management of the accounting/finance function for the site.
  • Responsible for all financial reports and forecasts for the site.
  • Responsible for helping to develop the yearly annual operating plan.
  • Responsible for the monthly close of the financial books.
  • Responsible for developing the other members of the finance team.
  • Responsible for the cost accounting function and cost analysis of programs.
  • An integral member of the site leadership team.
  • Other duties as needed for the business.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7+ years experience in manufacturing accounting, finance, or other related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Knowledge of general accounting practice, financial analysis, and cost accounting (preferably in a job cost environment).
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • CPA or CMA preferred.

  • Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Eligibility requirements include U.S. nationals or permanent residents (Green Card).
