We are seeking an experienced Asset Industrial Cleaner Lead located in King of Prussia, PA.  This position will be responsible for the completion of all non-routine cleaning and preservation work to assist within the Production Department.  The position will work directly with department leadership to assess, plan and resource asset upkeep/deep cleaning tasks and to assist in the completion of additional department improvements/cleanings as assigned..

 

  

Primary responsibilities include:

 

 

  • Take personal responsibility for ensuring a safe work place is established and maintained by following all EHS policies and procedures.

  • Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hearing protection, protective eyewear, and safety shoes.

  • Follow all General Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

  • Establish and maintain good housekeeping standards in all work areas.

  • Attend all required training.

  • Work alongside of line team members using appropriate methods and processes for cleaning.

  • Complete industrial cleaning activities on production lines and all equipment throughout the facility.

  • Maintain in good/clean condition all equipment in order to maximize the life cycle of the machinery.

  • Provide recommendations on best cleaning supplies and methods.

  • Train assigned team members in the safe use and operation of powered cleaning equipment.

  • Develop rotational cleaning/preservation schedule for all department equipment.

  • Monitor results and revise plans as necessary.

  • Assist in auditing against standards.

  • Coordinate and communicate work schedule and resource needs with department leadership.

  • Work closely with Production Process team in Conditioning Day planning.

  • Support 5s implementation and maintenance throughout the department.

  • General Facility cleaning throughout production areas including sweeping, floor cleaning, emptying trash and wiping down all equipment while keeping everything organized.

  • Must be able to climb in and out of the production machines and sound houses to perform proper cleaning of equipment.

  • All other duties assigned corresponding to the job function.

     

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while handling multiple priorities.

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts.

  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision, with self-directed work skills.

  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as necessary and must be able to work any shift, and stay on job until properly relieved.

  • Must have good interpersonal skills and interface with all departments with the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds in a team environment.

  • Must be able to speak, read and write the English language and perform basic mathematical skills.

  • Must be able to pass minimum required standard on all competency tests.

  • Must be able to pass all job-related skill assessments.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, computer skills, reasoning and mathematical skills.
