We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance II for our First Quality Products located in McElhattan, PA. This position will be responsible for the following:
Primary responsibilities include:
Practice good hygiene, treating everyone with respect, being constructive and tactful, communicating with your team and customers, and abiding by company policies and procedures
Paint walls, guards, floors, parking lines, etc
Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.(PPE,LOTO, construction safety, etc)
Perform basic metal cutting (burn off bolts, cut steel, etc.)
Perform carpentry work (fabrication of crates, platforms, tables, framing, and associated installation)
Perform lifting with proper rigging techniques
Repair and install drywall
Install and repair door lock equipment and door hardware; and know the facility lock system
Train other team members
Use tin equipment (nibblers, breaks, etc.)
Drill and tap all sizes properly
Use hand and power tools (bandsaw, table saw, bench and hand grinders, sanders, snowblower, etc.)
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Show initiative and work with little, or no supervision
Know the Weblink/MP2 system, and enter and retrieve work orders and reports
Certified to operate a fork/hand truck and Genie Boom
Understand the facility layout, and flow of materials and products
High school diploma or equivalent required
2 years of construction or Facilities Maintenance experience required
Occasional sitting durring the day
Frequent walking/standing throughout 8 hour shift
Occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching overhead during shift
Occasional pushing or pulling with legs, arms, and body throughout shift
Frequent lifiting or carrying of 10 lbs. or less with occasional lifting or carrying of 11-50 lbs.
Occasional repetitive use of right foot during the day
Frequent repetitive use of hands during the workday
Frequest simple/light grasping and occasional firm/strong grasping througout the day
Occasional driving of utility truck/vehicle.
