Gopher Sport is currently seeking an Application and Systems Analyst. This exciting position is responsible for maximizing the benefit and ROI from Applications by ensuring Applications work properly, are updated, are available, and are used to their full potential. The ideal candidate will be a smart, resourceful problem solver who is systematic and thoughtful in their problem solving approach. This person will work independently and cross-functionally with departments to accomplish the corporate goals.
Ensure 99.95% Applications and System availability
Maintain expert-level, up-to-date knowledge of current Systems and Applications.
Immediately respond to and correct issues preventing or negatively affecting Application or System uptime.
Reduce system and application cost and complexity by eliminating redundant Systems and optimizing, replacing or eliminating unnecessary Applications or processes.
Perform and confirm success of any Application and System changes (updates, repairs, upgrades, or modifications).
Optimize Application and System configuration and usage
Ability to optimize time and resources to achieve expected results. Effectively prioritize and organize work to fully contribute to team efforts.
Ability to efficiently and successfully complete projects both independently and by organizing and guiding the activities of team members from other departments and outside vendors.
Ability to easily and quickly test concepts or strategies, interpret results, and adjust/expand/abandon

Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field from an accredited college/university or Associate degree with 5 years’ experience supporting enterprise class business applications to include: ERP, WMS, CRM.
Demonstrated success implementing and supporting enterprise applications in a corporate environment
Experience managing projects through a system development lifecycle
