As an Assistant Director, you will oversee all operations of the region's group homes, including supervising managers and staff; providing budget and financial oversight to programs; ensuring compliance with OARs, agency policies, and our philosophy of care; ensuring ISPs, financial safeguards, and other protective measures for the people in our services are followed; participating in licensing reviews and quality assurance processes; and similar or related tasks. The ideal candidate will share our passion for helping people live self-determined lives and reach their full potential.

  • Five or more years’ experience in a developmental disabilities service setting
  • Experience overseeing staff and programs
  • Working knowledge of philosophies and approaches used to provide support options to people with developmental disabilities
  • Experience creating Individual Support Plans (ISPs) or in assessment-taking
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills when working with various groups including leadership, staff, and state agencies
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Licensed driver for more than two years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing programs in multiple locations
  • Proven record of staff training and development
  • Experienced with Microsoft Suite (primarily Excel and Outlook)
