1Prospect Technologies, LLC is seeking a qualified Project Manager to coordinate, develop, and maintain project plans for transition of AMEDDC&S HRCoE units, directorates, and functions. In conjunction with the Program Manager, the Project Manager will oversee the execution and implementation of applicable project plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with the AMEDDC&S Director of Business Transformation/Office of Strategy and Innovation and other key leaders, stakeholders, and customers.
Work directly with, and support Government Program Manager to oversee the execution and implementation of project plans in support of strategic initiatives and reorganization efforts
Develop scope, tasks, durations, deliverables, detailed timelines, performance measures and status reporting mechanisms for project plans
Generate work breakdown structures for major activities and associated outcomes
Develop, maintain, review and update detailed project schedules
Create an integrated master schedule;
Work directly with, and support Government Program Manager with implementation and integration with the planning team and the master project schedule, to include status reporting
Perform a full range of project management duties, to include identifying key milestones, gathering data, mapping data, baselining, analyzing project plan, preparing and presenting professional reports and briefings to a wide variety of individuals, managers, and key officials
Communicate via reports and briefings project status, task completion, and risks and delays along with recommended alternatives to project stakeholders
Provide technical advice and support to various levels of AMEDDC&S management officials
Assist in developing guidance, procedures and standards for program areas
Integrate policy, regulatory, and program issuances in full support of AMEDDC&S mission requirements
Analyze significant management issues and problems and develop recommendations and possible solutions.
Prepare and provide training and/or briefings on current and proposed AMEDDC&S policies and activities related to the HRCoE to a wide variety of individuals, managers, and key officials using Microsoft PowerPoint
Review changes in related legislative, DOD, and DA regulations and policies. Identify the impact of changes, and support the preparation of guidance and procedures, coordinating implementation with the AMEDDC&S.
Analyze AMEDDC&S units, activities, and training programs. Assists in the translation of findings into specific corrective action. Provide feedback and follow-up for required actions. Prepare and present reports and briefings to key staff.
Participate in AMEDD Futures Task Force work group and back brief and provide interpretive guidance as required.
Maintain detailed project management data using Microsoft Project, Access and Excel.

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
Four (4) + years of experience as a Project Manager
Current Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification through Project Management Institute (PMI)
Must have managed all phases of the project lifecycle while serving in a Project Manager capacity
Possess an understanding of scope definition, process and solution mapping; process structures and components; and standard planning methodologies
Read, write, and speak English fluently
Possess excellent written and oral communication
Possess excellent presentation, organizational, and planning skills
Be capable of learning and utilizing current and emerging military and commercial technology
Expert user in Microsoft Project and Microsoft PowerPoint
Be proficient with Microsoft Office suite and incorporated programs to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access and be able to troubleshoot basic computer hardware and software required for services begin provided
Previous military experience as a strategic planner is highly desirable
Understanding of Army Design Methodology and Military Decision Making Process (MDMP)
Experience serving as a liaison between client users, client technical team and support staff for Project/Program/Portfolio Management tools
Six (6) years of prior management experience related to systems integration, business transformation and/or project management
Three (3) + years of prior internal or external consulting experience
Extremely professional, proactive self-starter who is skilled both at formulating a strategic view for achieving long-range objectives and formulating and executing tactical plans to meet day-to-day needs
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in an environment of quick turnaround times and rapidly changing requirements, and integrate with multiple Project Management Plans
Maintain full responsibility for the project, apply lessons learned from recent projects, define project roles and responsibilities, lead the project planning activities, perform project tracking, adopt project management best practices, manage to project priorities, perform risk management, communicate project status upward and to the client, drive decision making to lowest level possible, promote client involvement, enforce effective change control, mentor project members, promote good working relationships
