USANA Health Sciences is seeking an inquisitive and experienced individual to join the IT department as a business applications analyst. In this position, you will work closely with peers in numerous IT teams to analyze, test, and determine the effectiveness of business process applications and will support administrators in day-to-day low-level functional requirements of assigned applications including process improvement. 

As an analyst, you will have the opportunity to meet with key stakeholders to audit and analyze current business processes. You will assist in the development and testing of new business processes for continuous improvement, while supporting changes with the assigned applications. As a result we are seeking an individual with strong Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, or Six Sigma experience in effectively writing, analyzing, and improving existing business processes. You will build strong relationships of trust with business users by fully understanding reported concerns from the end user perspective and clearly communicating status until the issue is resolved. Your ability to interact with managers and employees at all levels of the organization and your ability to write comprehensive status reports will be integral to your success.

In this position, you will also have the opportunity to manage all reporting dashboards associated with the assigned business applications and create communication channels to document, distribute and encourage improvement of metrics. Additional Essential Functions

  • Assist in managing roles and privileges for several user accounts while maintaining security requirements affiliated with regulatory bodies
  • Assist internal organizations and business partners with proper business process mapping
  • Establish and enforce governing principles for application use to ensure data integrity and system simplicity wherever possible
  • Ensure regularly scheduled maintenance support and loads are completed timely and accurately for the assigned applications
  • Modify existing application configuration as required by evolving business processes and under direction of Application Administrators
  • Provide ADHOC reporting and analysis of business processes through the use of various office tools including Oracle SQL Navigator, BI Publisher, Microstrategy, Excel, Confluence, etc.

Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, Economics, Statistics or related field
  • Six Sigma certification, or equivalent training in continuous improvement preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient knowledge of Agile PLM systems, Atlassian Suite, Product Portfolio Management, Master Data Management or Promapp applications preferred.
  • 5-8 years successful administrative, analysis, reporting, and business process design experience in an organization that uses business applications for lifecycle management, process mapping, project and task management, and resource planning
