USANA Health Sciences is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced technical individual to join our IT Help Desk department as a System Technician II. In this position, you will provide support to users, associates and other helpdesk members by researching, monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving IT systems related issues.

As a System Technician II you will maintain company computers by installing, configuring, repairing and upgrading hardware and software, support associates with technical related issues relating to USANA’s products and systems while providing leadership and support to the helpdesk to ensure timely resolution and excellent service level maintained. Your ability to demonstrate your technical and problem resolution skills will be integral to your success. As you develop in this position, you will have opportunity to grow within the help desk department as well as other teams within all of IT.

Additional Essential Functions

  • Handle escalations from other Help Desk techs
  • Mobile phone support familiarity with IOS and Android
  • Maintain familiarity with technology evolution and industry ratings for equipment
  • Provide support which includes proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
  • Own and manage escalated support cases
  • Perform root cause analysis to completion and resolution
  • Document all issues in our issue tracking system, updating cases as needed until resolved
  • Manage case load to meet defined service levels
  • Provide feedback on how to improve the product
  • Help improve customer support methods and processes

Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements

  • This position requires a four-year college degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT support / Desktop Support
  • Must be able and willing to work flexible shifts, including nights/weekends
  • Strong operating systems knowledge Mac/Windows
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Must demonstrate ability to working with cross functional teams
  • Has knowledge and experience to maintain technical processes
