Title Position Reports To: Assistant Dean CNPH
The Adjunct Faculty Coordinator position within the College of Nursing and Public Health will serve as the primary point of contact for Adjunct Faculty. In collaboration with administrators and chairs, the position is responsible for the total management of adjunct related processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Serve as the records administrator and primary point of contact for 200 plus Adjunct Faculty members.
Responsible for managing the verification of Adjunct credentials, managing and maintaining electronic and paper files.
Assisting with the support and staffing of teaching opportunities both in person and online/blended courses.
Providing accurate and timely report information and analysis of employee data to internal and external sources.
Develop and engage in editorial reviews of policies and proposals.
Assisting in Adjunct Faculty recruitment and orientation.
Preparing Adjunct contracts and one-time payments.
Serving as a resource for both Adjunct and full time Faculty.
Collaborating with departmental Chairs and course coordinators on maintaining positive adjunct relationships
Providing support and guidance on College and University policies and processes
Serve as first line point of contact for adjunct assistance with Moodle, ATI and Kaplan products etc.
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in running queries and to process data reports.
Strong data entry and analysis capabilities.
Database management experience is strongly preferred.
Organized, professional, and possess the ability to focus on large amounts of data for accuracy checks and analysis over an extended period of time.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High-quality customer service, maintain confidentiality, and enjoy work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked and innovative environment.
Ability to master educational technology sufficient to resolve frequent questions
Ability to work with faculty to interpret course objectives and assignment questions from adjuncts
Master’s degree in nursing required, doctorate preferred.
Two years’ experience working or teaching in a University setting is preferred.
Two years’ experience in data management and reporting.
