Description

 Principal Duties:

In your role as Associate, Operations you will support the implementation of our project management and operations functions. You will leverage your comfort and facility with word-processing, spreadsheets, and online tools to support the Projects and Operations unit. Success in this role requires a detail-oriented and positive individual with strong communication and time management skills who enjoys working in a dynamic, small business environment.

 

Your Principal Duties will include:

  • Supporting the Finance Manager in weekly Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tracking
  • Reconciling corporate credit card accounts weekly
  • Managing petty cash disbursements and reconciliation
  • Responding to and managing external inquiries
  • Ordering supplies, scheduling and preparing for meetings and events, and maintaining office organization
  • Updating general office forms, calendar, manuals, inventories, and templates
  • Managing corporate memberships
  • Serving as the office contact for onsite troubleshooting of IT issues; responsible for understanding how office technology (conferencing system, servers) works and how to do basic IT troubleshooting and support for all staff
  • Processing invoices, expense reports, and other expenses
  • Supporting vendor and consultant procurement and management
  • Drafting documents for review, including periodic reports and marketing material
  • Expanding professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contributing to corporate strategy implementation through active participation in Project Management and Operations Unit initiatives 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS office and Excel
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship required
  • At least one year of experience working in an office setting
  • Exposure to accounting and finance applications
