As the Vice President, Marketing & Communications, you will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of all marketing and communication initiatives to drive sales growth, client retention and member communications.
About The Position:
As the Vice President, Marketing & Communications, you will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of all marketing and communication initiatives to drive sales growth, client retention and member communications. Work with strategy, product, innovation and the regions to develop differentiated value propositions, positioning and deliver compelling content that enables sales.
The VP will also be responsible for developing & delivering member & provider communications strategies that create engagement and preference. Develop and execute the communications strategy across multiple channels using a variety of mediums and approaches to build engagement.
Working closely with strategy, regions, product and clinical, create national marketing strategies and initiatives designed to accomplish business objectives
Drive solutions including value propositions, growth and retention strategies and go-to-market solutions
Lead the long term and annual marketing planning process; Collaborates with internal marketing teams as well as business partners to develop and execute strategies
Responsible for product marketing for all lines of business to enable the sales organization. With regions, determine tool kits that effectively support sales engagement
Develop best-in-class marketing collateral, sales presentations and tools that communicate our value proposition for key markets.
Understand changes in the marketplace and how we can capitalize on them
Create communications strategies that educate and engage members to access available programs
Develop provider communications strategies to inform providers of operational updates & program enhancements to improve stakeholder engagement & operational efficiencies
Create go-to-market strategies for new and mature products, ensuring internal alignment and market readiness
Develop and utilize standard work processes to lead and manage work
Education:Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (business, marketing, advertising, communications, computer science); MBA a plus
Relevant Work Experience:
15+ years of relevant experience, 5+ years of staff management experience
Experience within B2B, B2C and B2B2C marketing a plus
Strategic marketing capabilities with ability to put in place strategic marketing frameworks and respond to the demand for marketing disciplines across the business as the company continues its transformation
Track record of building and leading high performing and relatively lean marketing teams
Strategist and a practitioner – someone who can shape, teach and influence as well as understand and help to deliver business results
Multi-channel experience across multiple lines of business and geographies
Strong communication skills required; must be able to articulate a clear vision throughout all levels of an organization
Financial services expertise a plus
