As a Senior Supply Chain Manager at HME, you will manage and support all aspects concerning the sourcing and planning of materials. You will lead and implement efforts in supplier selection and management; price, stocking levels, and lead-time negotiations and global supply base. Additionally, you be responsible for the day to day planning, and purchasing of inventory to maximize – stock levels and inventory turns while minimizing overstocks or stock-outs. This position requires close coordination with sales, engineering, quality, and manufacturing.

Essential Job Functions

  • Drive for cross-functional continuous improvement in systems and supply chain activities
  • Drive implementation and use of lean tools and principles
  • Oversite of Supplier Scorecard Policy, Supplier Assessments, and Supplier QBR program
  • Optimize inventory levels and strive for continuous improvement across the supply chain
  • Lead global commodity strategy
  • Oversite of supply chain agreements with a focus on sourcing and terms
  • Identifies opportunities and implements action plans to improve service, quality, and delivery
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and management
  • High visibility role which regularly interacts with all levels of the organization
  • Develops, monitors and publishes key performance indicators analyzes performance data and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience as a Supply Chain Manager or Purchasing Manager in a manufacturing environment
  • 7+ years of LEAN experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Experience with global sourcing and supply base management
  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and transportation
  • Process Improvement driven
  • Strong problem solving, project management, and analytical skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional technical aptitude; ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Strong MS Office suite and the ability to analyze data, draw the conclusion and take action

 

Experience

7+ years – Purchasing and\or Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment

Education

BA or BS (college graduate) - Preferred - Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field

Travel

10% (Domestic & International)
