MasterGraphics Inc., the Midwest’s largest independent provider of CAD / BIM solutions has an immediate opening for a Software Support Technician with our award-winning technical team. The Software Support Technician will be responsible for the administration of the entire cycle of software technical support cases, managing services contracts, and maintaining customer relationships.

 

About the Opportunity:

The Software Support Technician will work in a fast-paced team environment to assist our roster of professional AEC clients (architecture, engineering and construction), in addition to our course instructors and other staff.  Responsibilities will include:

  • Support Requests: take incoming calls, research solutions, determine course of action, engage technical specialists (as needed), maintain / track support records and keep up general knowledge of software applications.
  • Follow-up: maintain a high level of customer satisfaction via phone follow-up
  • Track & Invoice:  process monthly service engagements and support contracts


 

Qualifications We Are Looking for:

 To be considered, candidates must have:

  • 1+ year of recent software technical support experience

But that requirement alone isn’t enough to make a successful candidate.  Candidates most likely to move forward in the interview process will have support experience, industry knowledge and familiarity with products that are related to this position.  Additional qualifications we’re looking for include:

  • Experience using a 3D CAD software program such as Autodesk Revit Architecture, Revit MEP, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, etc.
  • A well-organized professional with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A blend of customer service skills with advanced administrative functions -- a great combination for a self-starter looking to build a career with one of the Midwest's leading providers of technology solutions for the building and civil industries.
  • Experience with installing and licensing Autodesk® software
