MasterGraphics.aec, the leader in design technology consulting to the AEC industry, has an immediate opening for a high energy, high activity Strategic Client Manager.

As a Strategic Client Manager, you will help grow our design software and services business within the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) or Engineering, Natural Resources, Infrastructure (ENI) industries.  For almost 70 years, we've established exceptional customer loyalty and a reputation as a true business partner – this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Client Manager.

 

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

  • Target Customers:  AEC & ENI clients with design data needs.  This is one of our premier territories with a well-established existing account base and significant opportunity for new business growth.

  • Territory:  This position will be based from our Madison WI office and will cover a territory throughout Wisconsin, Northern Illinois and Eastern Minnesota.

  • Primary Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a client network within the AEC & ENI community and uncover business opportunities through prospecting, networking and use of social media

    • Develop long-term relationships and establish MasterGraphics.aec as a trusted technology business partner

    • Use of consultative selling approach, validating needs and aligning solutions that will exceed client expectations

    • Remain relevant on new technologies and trends and establishing expertise within aligned industries

 

QUALIFICATIONS WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

To be considered, candidates must have:

  • At least four (4) years of recent B2B outside sales experience where sales is the primary function of your role.

  • Plus – we’d ideally like to find someone with experience selling to, or working in, the AEC or ENI industries


But these requirements aren’t enough to make a successful candidate. Candidates most likely to move forward in the interview process will have a proven history of success in meeting sales goals, attracting new clients, and familiarity with products that are related to this position.  Additional qualifications we’re looking for include:
 

  • Experience using a consultative approach to uncover design software solutions and related services opportunities within the AEC & ENI industries.

  • The ability to prospect and be effective at finding new opportunities, building relationships and maintaining business inside existing accounts. 

  • Strong listening, communication and problem solving skills.

  • A self-starter who is highly motivated, goal oriented, and able to work without supervision – but be accountable to your role on the team. 

  • A willingness to grow, be coachable, and open to being challenged in a consultative spirit of growth and success.
