Organizes activities related to the recruiting, hiring and onboarding of lawyers (entry level, lateral, and partner) and assists with other recruitment initiatives as required. Assists the Legal Recruiting Department leadership, including the Director of Legal Recruiting, Director of Lateral Partner Recruitment, and Manager of Legal Recruiting and works with other Legal Recruiting staff on all matters related to hiring.
Lateral Associate and Lateral Partner Recruitment
Assist with various aspects of the efforts of the lateral partner recruiting team, including coordination of strategic searches, research, market intelligence, candidate profiles, maintaining data and reports; including working effectively with firm administrative departments involved in onboarding and integration.
Assist in lateral associate recruitment efforts for multiple practice groups firm wide, including report generation, candidate tracking and communication, scheduling, follow-up and coordination with search firms.
Assist in the planning of the firm wide orientation program for summer and first-year associates, including collecting associate information and maintaining databases, collaborate with team members in other offices to coordinate logistics of orientation sessions.
Onboarding and integration of new lateral partners.
In coordination with the Manager of Legal Recruiting, represents the firm through membership at local legal recruiting organization (WALRAA); stay current of evolving developments in recruiting field.
Performs additional duties as requested.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
This is an exempt position. Incumbent is expected to work the hours necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. Some travel may be required.
