Talent Plus, an international human resources consulting firm, is seeking a gifted Business Development Associate to help us with our aggressive growth goals. This individual will drive business development activities to fulfill our vision “to be the leading partner in building and sustaining high-performing and fully-engaged cultures through talent selection, development and analytics." This sales roles will focus primarily on inside sales, prospecting and setting needs analysis meetings with prospective clients. Top candidates will be gifted at building instant rapport and moving others to action. This individual must be competitive, persistent, positive and a self-starter.

Basic Overview

The Business Development Associate will support the business development efforts and growth of Talent Plus through outbound efforts to set appointments with key leaders and decision makers within prospective client partners. This associate will research and gather information around key issues for prospective organizations. In addition to researching prospective organizations, this associate will be trained to manage and set sales appointments to meet, either in-person or by telephone, with key decision makers identified through the sales and marketing campaigns of Talent Plus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Determine key issues specific to individual prospects to be used in outbound calls and use these “hooks” to set sales appointments for our Senior Consultants.
  • Maintain sales appointment schedules.
  • Work with the marketing team to coordinate the delivery of sales materials to each prospect.
  • Establish a rapport with executive assistants in order to break down barriers and set quality appointments with the proper decision makers.
  • Maintain and update account and contact level data in Salesforce, a client relationship management database.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and branding teams to monitor progress of call campaigns, including success rates of targeted messaging, appointments and new client acquisition.
  • Conduct other phone campaigns directed toward driving event participation (i.e. webinars and presentations).
