Job Overview

The Digital Coordinator (Social, Email and Analytics) reports to the Director, Digital Marketing and is part of the Marketing and Knowledge Innovation team based in our downtown Toronto office. He/she will coordinate the planning and implementation of content on our social media channels and through email marketing.

Some highlights of the role include:

Overall:

  • Assist the Director, Digital Marketing on on-going digital projects
  • Plan, implement and monitor social and email channels
  • Produce regular analytics reports
  • Work closely with the delivery teams (IT, Marketing and Knowledge Innovation, Fund Development and Agencies) to ensure they are on track with daily/weekly/monthly deadlines and deliverables

Internal collaboration:

  • Work with different departments to plan internal communications
  • Coordinate the production process with agencies, IT colleagues, members of the Marketing and Knowledge Innovation team
  • Participate in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns

Social Media, Email and Analytics:

  • Participate in the creation, planning and implementation of content on our social media channels
  • Monitor Social Media and prepare weekly reports on areas of interest, brand health and sentiment
  • Follow up with different internal departments for collecting requirements, content, receiving deliverables, information or approvals
  • Provide customer service and triage of incoming social media messages
  • Create and communicate content calendars for social and email
  • Develop training and process materials as needed
  • Lead training sessions on the new social strategy and tools
  • Produce dashboards relaying analytics and insights on email, social and website projects
  • Create email communications based upon digital marketing campaigns
  • Lead training sessions on email marketing best practices
  • Define most important social media KPIs

About You

  • College Diploma in Marketing, Multimedia or Communication with some technical knowledge of digital marketing and related technologies (e.g. webservice, CMS, Database, etc).
  • 1- 3 years as a social media coordinator or similar role
  • HTML and CSS knowledge, an asset
  • Experience in Digital Marketing, required
  • Familiarity with the non-profit industry, an asset
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Experience with doing audience and customer persona research
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter and other social media platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, CMS and EMS systems, and Google Analytics with an aptitude to learn internal software and other relevant experience creating reports and dashboard
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively support multiple projects
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively work cross functionally, source information, obtain approvals, build relationships, and influence others
  • Problem solver, able to learn new things quickly, with great attention to detail
