We are hiring for intermediate and senior Advanced Analytics Professionals!  Preference will be given to Toronto-based candidates with experience in machine learning and/or marketing analytics.

As an Advanced Analytics Professional reporting to the Team Leader, Advanced Analytics, you will create predictive models, tools, and processes based on internal and external data to improve business decision making and the customer experience.  You must demonstrate a passion for creating innovative solutions, and you must explain complex concepts to stakeholders to gain acceptance for your analysis. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Apply professional experience with data mining software to prepare, analyze, and model data
  • Prepare and present high-quality deliverables to communicate insights and recommendations
  • Continually focus on innovation and process improvement to promote leading practice and efficiency across the organization
  • Effectively lead and mentor junior team members

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in data mining and/or predictive modelling
  • A proven track record of completing analysis with large datasets
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Strong programming skills
  • Experience with data mining software (e.g., R, Python)
  • Experience with big data analysis tools (e.g., Pig, Hive, Spark, Scala) is an asset
  • Marketing analytics experience – including digital marketing analytics, multi-touch attribution, and market mix modelling – is an asset
