In this role, you will:

  • Working as part of the Organizational Development team, the Organizational Development Advisor is responsible for the design, planning and implementation of learning, leadership, talent and organizational development programs, as well as initiatives to promote a culture of service excellence, thus ensuring that Human Resources and Economical’s strategic goals are met.

Your Responsibilities

  • Organizational Change Management (OCM)

    • Collaborate with leaders across the organization to develop and execute enterprise organizational change programs to support successful accomplishment of strategic objectives

    • Work with business units in creating change management strategies and communication plans to support various initiatives

  • Talent Management and Succession Planning

    • Create talent management processes at all levels, focusing on talent within or across departments

  • Organizational Effectiveness

    • Proactively enable the alignment of systems, processes and procedures that promote and sustain profitable growth and operational excellence

    • Design, implement and deliver OD solutions that focus on people, processes and technology in order to improve organizational performance

  • Culture and Employee Engagement

    • Collaborate with leadership to effectively manage employee engagement, leading to motivated, inspired and productive teams

  • Diversity and Inclusion

    • Create programs related to diversity and inclusion that inspire an environment where leaders and employees can thrive and reach their full potential

  • Continuous Improvement

    • Implement measures to evaluate program effectiveness over time

    • Partner with HR leadership and colleagues to support and implement the people development strategy, ensuring learning solutions are of the highest quality and support Economical’s culture and values

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology or related discipline

  • 3-5 years of experience in a corporate organizational development role providing organizational change management support to leadership teams

  • Experience in talent management

  • Highly skilled at coaching, facilitating and leading meetings

  • Experience working on large-scale change management initiatives

  • Focus on a business-centred approach to problem solving

  • Ability to assess situations from a systems perspective or demonstrated ability to use a systems thinking approach to organizational development

  • Program management experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project)

  • Bilingualism in French and English an asset
