Senior Specialist, Content Marketing (12-month contract)

Reporting to the Manager, Content Marketing, the Senior Specialist, Content Marketing will play an instrumental role in our team’s mission to translate Economical’s value proposition through compelling content. Your exceptional writing and research skills will delight and captivate our audience from headline to CTA and across a broad range of sales enablement tools and mediums: web copy, articles, fact sheets, case studies, infographics, email campaigns, social media, online ads, print ads, video, etc.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute on our project-based content marketing plan

  • Consult on and contribute to marketing readiness plan

  • Conceptualize, research, and create compelling sales enablement content that educates and inspires our audience to take action

  • Work with our designers and/or web team to deliver content in a variety of formats: web copy, articles, fact sheets, case studies, infographics, email campaigns, social media, online ads, print ads, video, etc.

  • Identify and edit (repurpose) high-value content to target different audiences and mediums

  • Attend project meetings, and work in close alignment with Communication and Marketing Strategy counterparts

  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to produce accurate, relevant copy; make recommendations on channels and assets that will deliver the most impact

  • Edit content from internal and external contributors

  • Review available data/reports related to our content and adapt to maximize future results

  • Serve as a brand ambassador by ensuring our tone and the quality of our content meets corporate brand standards

Your Skills and Experience:

  • University degree or college diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field

  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in a marketing or publishing environment

  • Copywriting and editing accountability for a variety of content assets, including but not limited to web copy, blog posts, email campaigns, social media, ads (digital and print), presentations, videos, and brochures

  • Experience optimizing content for web and mobile properties (SEO and SEM)

  • Experience writing for and marketing to both B2B and B2C audiences is an asset

  • Agency experience is an asset
