  • facilitate meetings with various stakeholders to identify priorities, conflicts, dependencies and risks for the release and ensure that plans are in place to mitigate those risks
  • ensure all teams are prepared and ready for any given release, escalate concerns/issues to management and protect the success of the release by governing adherence to a published schedule
  • confirm the release deployment plan is followed and that all release deliverables have been completed according to the release dates and deadlines

Your Responsibilities

  • Accommodate a flexible schedule as most releases occur outside of regular business hours
  • Collect, manage, lock down and publish/communicate release scope
  • Facilitate release planning meeting with key stakeholders to identify sequencing of release packages and ensure that issues and risks are identified and mitigated
  • Collect and consolidate Activity Sequence Document (ASD), and Configuration & Deployment Details (CDD) and ensures they are completed accurately in accordance with the release timeline
  • Conduct release readiness reviews
  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between multiple project teams
  • Act as single point of contact for Plan and Build activities
  • Report on status of Plan and Build activities to management team
  • Represent the change for the required review boards (Release/Technical/Change)
  • Escalate major deployment deviations or delays to Incident Management
  • Strictly manage timing and coordination of test runs with competing projects and client stakeholders sharing pre-production test environments

Your Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in insurance standards
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical lead capacity
  • Vendor management experience
  • Stakeholder relationship management experience
  • Strong knowledge of project delivery practices, standards across the project and services lifecycle and technical processes and tools
  • Subject matter expertise in several aspects of the business/technology domains while consulting with the business and project teams on development items
