Overview

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for organizational development and change supporting a wide range of talent initiatives including leadership development, assessment, competency integration and succession management. The solutions you deliver will enhance individual, team, and support our culture with achieving Economical’s mission, vision and strategic goals.

Organizational development at Economical emphasizes a systemic and collaborative approach to improving and enhancing a culture of high-performance.

 

Organizational Development & Talent

  • Participate in consultation and collaboration with stakeholders to assess talent management and leadership development needs using internal and external resources to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate programs.

  • Design and implement programs and learning paths that leverage multiple learning approaches.

  • Support our ongoing leadership assessment, succession management and competency integration initiatives.

  • Conduct research on emerging trends and best practices in OD/Talent Management and make recommendations for future design enhancements.

  • Provide recommendations for the learning and training modalities that will be most impactful for delivery and knowledge retention

 

Change Management

  • Lead change initiatives, interventions, projects, and programs to build capacity and effectiveness at the leadership level across the organization.

  • Facilitate planning and design sessions to support teams and individuals with achieving strategic goals.

  • Ensure the right structures, people, training and communications are aligned to business objectives.

  • Design/update documentation, solutions and supporting material as needed.

     

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a related Talent Management, Organizational Development or Change Management role.

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Certificate in Human Resources Management and PROSCI Certification is an asset.

  • Significant experience developing and deploying talent management and/or organizational development programs with a proven track record of success.

  • Experience with planning large-scale organizational change management processes with hands-on delivery to shift mindset, behaviors, and achieve results.

  • Big picture thinking to analyze, review and recommend possible organizational improvements.

  • Mastery of Excel, Word and PowerPoint with strong visual presentation skills and attention to details.

  • A working style characterized by a client-focused approach, an innovation mindset and result orientation.

  • Experience with delivering training to various groups of stakeholders.

  • Some travel required.
