The Field Operations Lead is an essential part of our overall customer experience and is responsible for providing a ‘Best in Class’ installation to our customers all over the nation.  As the boots-on-the-ground, this position is responsible for communicating progress to the customer, problem solving and coordinating resolutions with the Field Operations Coordinator. 


Essential Functions and Job Duties


  • Pre-assembly and assembly of furniture

  • Perform special applications, such as leveling, wall mounts, custom field modifications

  • Communicate effectively with the customer to coordinate all installation activities from product delivery to customer sign-off. Address all customer questions at any point in the process and provide basic product training as requested

  • Train, instruct & supervise regional labor teams to properly assemble Watson products to specification

  • Diagnose and repair product issues on the fly and, when required, accurately instruct the Field Operations Coordinator on which parts to order

  • Safely transporting goods as directed, including loading and unloading. Drive company owned and/or rented vehicles up to and including large (non-cdl) box trucks

  • Facilitate each job to customer’s expectations – professionally, systematically, and completely

  • Serving as the “face of Watson”




  • Willing to travel up to 75% and work flexible hours including weekends and overtime

  • Must possess and maintain a valid state issued driving license in their state of residence (CDL license is a plus, but not required)

  • Must maintain driving and insurance eligibility at all times according to company guidelines

  • Must be able to pass a background screening to enable work on government and law enforcement locations

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and handle frequent bending and stooping

  • Able to understand isometric and plan view scale drawings

  • Demonstrated skill with hand-operated power tools

  • Must have good interpersonal skills and present a professional appearance and demeanor to customers and vendors.

  • Holds or can acquire a valid passport for international and domestic travel

  • Must be able to meet standard car rental requirements

  • Must be well organized and detailed oriented, able to follow instructions

  • Able to work independently as a project lead and as part of a team
