The role:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Key Account Manager to play a pivotal role in the growth of the business, reporting to the General Manager of Sales.

The purpose of the role is to strategically develop, maximise and nurture new and existing Key Client Relationships within the Healthcare sector. You will drive growth in revenue across the business through enhancing our planning, communications and depth of relationship with the client and become a trusted advisor with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • New Business development – executing the business strategy at all levels; driving activity to achieve new business targets
  • Cross sell services and collaborate with all Recruitment delivery teams to leverage opportunities
  • Client segmentation – collaborate with the business to review and develop plans for new and existing clients
  • Client communications – Drive improved communication and conduct frequent client visits to strengthen and broaden relationships (particularly at C-suite level) which will include nationwide travel
  • Optimise the service offering - proactively identify opportunities to strategically align with key clients to enhance Wavelength service offering
  • Account management – Map out all areas of the client remit to identify business opportunities and develop relationships plus leverage relationships with stakeholders and influencers
  • Develop an understanding of the medical recruitment environment across all key/strategic accounts and become the subject matter expert in terms of workforce policy and governance

The ideal candidate:

  • You will be from a Recruitment background with a proven track record of achieving targets, ideally with strong relationships and knowledge of the Healthcare industry
  • Understanding of CRM and databases
  • Results driven and tenacious
  • Customer service focussed with exceptional communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Experience with recruitment functions and metrics
  • Commercially minded with strong business acumen
  • An inherent drive to build a sales and business development career
  • An innovative problem solver, constantly striving to find the best outcomes aligned to the clients and business
  • A collaborative approach
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Open minded and willing to learn
