We currently seek an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Technology and Business Services team.

Our team members have the opportunity to partner with doctors, hospitals, and other cardiovascular healthcare providers to ensure everyone has access to healthier lifestyle choices and proper healthcare. We are a critical component that enables our business lines to connect with communities of professionals who make a lifesaving impact every day.  Our main focus is on supporting our customers who use our off the shelf and custom built applications.  As a key member of our team, you will communicate internally with product managers, internal and third party developers, as well as internal and external customers who use our products and services. Your efforts will be instrumental to drive strategy around future product releases and product evolution to add value for our end users.

Function and Scope

  • Deploy, document, and automate the implementation of technologies and platforms supporting a complex data infrastructure.
  • Support and configure network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, WLAN’s, SAN’s and other associated equipment.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration and support for all ACC infrastructure systems.
  • Participate in the technology design process and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Continually strive to automate and enhance operations by identifying areas of improvement, writing scripts, documenting the environment and processes.
  • Manage day-to-day storage environment using EMC and Nimble.
  • Serve as a key resource on the selection and implementation of new technologies.
  • Support Infrastructure Architect and contribute to strategic implementations of enterprise products and solutions.
  • Define infrastructure performance and capacity targets for all infrastructure systems.
  • Develop tools and programs for operating, monitoring, and measuring the ACC infrastructure.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to System Administrators.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN concepts, including TCP/IP, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, VLANs, LDAP, firewalls and load balancers.
  • Advanced knowledge of VMware vCenter and vSphere ESXi 5.x and above.
  • Experience with enterprise storage platforms such as EMC VNX and Nimble.
  • Demonstrated experience with building and maintaining highly available virtualized environments.
  • Extensive experience working with Windows and Linux servers including server virtualization and replication.
  • Solid understanding of server/network hardware, SAN and NAS principles, and storage
  • Ability to integrate complex hardware and software systems.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform hands-on configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, servers and workstations.
  • Experience designing, documenting and the installation of large scale wireless networks and supporting infrastructure.
  • Ability to perform advanced packet/protocol analysis throughout the seven layer OSI reference model

  • Backup and recovery – Veeam

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years installing and building IT infrastructure and providing operational support.
  • Industry Certificates (Cisco, F5, Linux, Microsoft).
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems.
