Research & Development- Intern

Located in Baltimore, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge in research and development. This role will work directly with the R&D team on providing support for various projects, specifically with latex technology.

 

Intern’s Primary Project and/or Tasks:

Provide testing and analytical support for latex technology development project including specimen preparation, testing and data analysis. 

May also include formulation and sample preparation and project planning

 

Desired Skills and Qualifications :

 

  • Major: . Baccalaureate program in science or engineering (chemistry or material science preferred)
  • Completed at least freshman year in school, Minimum GPA = 3.0
  • Skills – Microsoft Excel, ability to manage multiple priorities using basic lab instruments useful (analytical balance, pH meter, tensile testers, computers, etc.)
  • Attributes: Good communication skills - Oral, Written, Presentation, Developed math skills for numerical analysis. Able to stand or sit for periods of time as required

Compensation: $15 per hour

Hours: 32 hours (4 days a week)
