Responsible for partnering with assigned independent health food store retailers and key accounts in an effort to raise the attention given to the Garden of Life product line and increase sell in and sell through with primary focus on the consumer.
Responsible for partnering with assigned independent health food store retailers and key accounts in an effort to raise the attention given to the Garden of Life product line and increase sell in and sell through with primary focus on the consumer. The efforts in assigned retail stores include, but are not limited to, sales and service of products, programs and services, consumer product sampling/demonstration and education, retailer education and training, event coordination, account development, improved merchandising and product placement.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Sales and Territory Management
Daily personal visits to retail locations five (5) days a week. Responsible for understanding and presenting strategic and conceptual retail programs, presenting promotional buys, assisting with store-level promotional management, including EDLP’s, Line Drives, New Product Launches, and Quarterly Promotions. Within a defined territory the representative will be expected to complete a minimum number of on site visits to consultatively sell concepts such as category management and brand block sets and conduct quarterly business planning.
Strategic Sales Support
Product demonstration support
Store employee training and education
New product and promotion set up
Replenish supply of EH magazines, books, literature, and ensure store employees are aware of available tools
Display and case stack sales
Assist consumers generally to shop across the store
Ensure GOL products are properly merchandised with signage and discounts are being passed to consumers
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
Minimum of two (2) years outside and/or retail sales experience
Industry and product knowledge helpful but not required
