Summary/Objective OnPoint has an immediate opening for a Security Manager. This position is located in Arlington, VA, and may occasionally require local-area or other CONUS travel to other corporate and client locations.
The Security Manager is responsible for serving as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and managing the company’s Security program. Oversee the daily workings of the Security processing team. The Security Manager serves as primary contact with our clients’ security representative(s) for the processing of clearance submissions.
Conduct Security briefings, as required.
Conduct initial security briefings, indoctrinations, and re-indoctrinations of employees.
Conduct ongoing security education and awareness training.
Oversee visitor request processing
Assist with the maintenance of the visitors log and contract reports.
Track employee travel and deliver travel briefings as require by the NISP.
Create and maintaining security records in accordance with DoS and DSS requirements.
Address questions pertaining to clearance processing and reviewing security packets for accuracy, completion and submission
Processing Fingerprint cards in accordance with the lasted Department of Defense (DoD) and or Department of State (DoS) guidelines.
Process periodic reinvestigations when required.
Process visit request as needed.
Confirm (clearance) eligibility for recruitment of potential employees.
Liaise with the assigned DoS representative to ensure compliance.
Preparation for DSS investigation and/or annual visit.
Preparing written reports of surveys and inspections.
Conduct investigation of reports of security violations and incident reports.
Discrete, with ability to handle and protect highly sensitive personnel/security data.
Manage all aspects of the company FOCI (Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence) mitigation agreement and documentation.
Strong and effective leadership skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Proficient with a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project), and Outlook.
Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, interacting with all levels of staff, clients and consultants in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure; being proactive, resourceful and efficient; and, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
Flexibility and maturity are a must.

Required Education and Experience
2+ years of experience as a Security Manager and/or Facility Security Officer (AFSO)
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in DoD security administration required.
1+ years of experience in DoS clearance processing preferred.
Experience with E-QIP/EPSQ/JPAS/ACAVS requires active Department of Defense (DOD) SECRET Clearance minimum.
Knowledgeable in NISPOM, NISPOM Supplement, NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID's, and COMSEC requirements required.
Knowledgeable of Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) helpful.
