Accounting Invoicing Specialist

We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a self-motivated Accounting Invoicing Specialist to join our Los Angeles, CA office. The ideal candidate will emphasize in providing timely responses to both internal and external customers, accuracy of work, and have good organizational skills.   

Job Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Invoicing Specialist, you will perform monthly billing related analysis and generate billing reports during critical reporting period to ensure client invoicing is done both timely and accurately. You will utilize special client templates and client portals when applicable.

Accounting Invoicing Specialist additional responsibilities:

  • Prepare client labor and reimbursable invoicing, including necessary back-up documentation
  • Provide analytical support to project accountants including reviewing billing discrepancies, WIP account review and preparation and distribution of accounting reports
  • Prepare written documentation to client regarding outstanding invoices during billing cycle
  • Resolve short payment and skipped invoice issues with client
  • Invoicing and payment reconciliations for projects
  • Assist in collection activities and input of cash receipts
  • Assist with period end tasks during monthly closing
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

Accounting Invoicing Specialist

Job Requirements:

  • 1 to 5 years’ relevant experience; in A/E/C industry is highly preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of industry accounting application systems
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
