Public Health Internship Coordinator
The College of New Jersey is seeking applicants for a full-time, 12–month Internship Coordinator for the Department of Public Health.
The purpose of the Capstone internship program is to provide students with an opportunity to gain practical experience in health-related professions such as working at Departments of Public Health, Community Based Organizations, Health agencies, Pharmaceuticals, or a health-related profession. The Internship Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing administrative, supervisory, and teaching related duties.

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Public Health or related field from an accredited college, experience supervising interns, and a minimum of two years-experience working in a health-related setting. Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute required experience on a year-for-year basis (30 credit hours is considered one year of college.) Consideration may be given to individuals with a minimum of 5 years work experience in similar occupation. Excellent oral and written skills are required. Candidate should be personable and adaptable and able to work independently and collaboratively. Experience teaching in higher education and with learning and communication systems preferred. State Public Health certifications are desirable.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience. Final offer of employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.
