Description

Position:  Counterintelligence/Security Analyst

Location:  Washington, DC - downtown

Clearance: Active TS/SCI

Reports to:  Program Manager and Customer

Start Date: 25 Sep 2017

Advantage SCI, LLC is seeking one (1) Mid-Level Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst to be considered for full time employment.

Summary of Duties includes, but is not limited to:

  • Applying knowledge and mastery of CI concepts, principles, and practices to plan and conduct a full range of CI analytical support to CI operations, collection, inquiries, risk assessments, and services in support of national security;

  • Producing IIRs on CI incidents, including amplifying analytical information/data in accordance with ICD policy

  • Providing specialized intelligence and threat analysis and production support, accessing and performing research on designated intelligence databases for the purpose of identifying information of interest, and employing technologies, analytical tools, and communications processes to drive activities from beginning to completion;

  • Developing analytical processes and methods to support CI inquiries, analyses, and production, collection, and monitoring results to ensure that they are achieved within the appropriate directives, regulations, policies, and procedures; and

  • Providing tailored intelligence and threat analysis of the information, developing summaries, reports, various threat assessments, risk assessments, presentations, and other designated products, presenting briefings, and participating in liaison activities as needed.

  • Collect, input, assess, and analyze foreign travel information in database to identify potential CI or insider threat anomalies; provide analysis that identifies anomaly(ies) in support of activities, inquires or reports

  • Determine need for foreign travel briefings and debriefings and schedule, manage and conduct them based on customer travel program procedures

  • Provide incident reporting in customer tracking matrix

  • Other Duties as assigned

    Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret/SSBI clearance with eligibility for SCI without exception, deviation or waiver

  • Must be willing to submit to and pass CI poly as and when required by the customer

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 6-8 years of CI analysis experience or 10 years of CI analysis experience without a degree

  • Knowledgeable in the operations and resources of the intelligence community with knowledge and experience in security, intelligence, and counterintelligence

  • Must have proven experience (shown in resume) in preparing IIRs and conducting briefings of and producing CI risk assessments and other analytical produce

  • Must be a experienced and well-articulated presenter and briefer. Excellent verbal skills

  • Excellent writing skills and use of Microsoft Suite

    Working Conditions:

  • Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time

  • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis

  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally

  • Able to walk long distances
